Wade Noble

A fifth-generation Arizonan on his fathers’ side, Wade was born in Safford, Arizona. The family lived in Willcox until he was about 15 years old. His family then moved to Tempe and Wade graduated from Tempe High School.
After High School, Wade served a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Peru and Colombia. Among the many skills he returned with was fluency for reading, writing and speaking the Spanish language.
Wade has been involved with the Boy Scouts of America for more than 45 years. He has years of service as a Scoutmaster and continues to serve in leadership at the unit, district and council level. He has been a role model who has motivated many young boys into becoming upstanding citizens and assets to their communities. He is a proud recipient of Scouting’s Silver Beaver Award. His three sons, David, Court, and Nace have each earned the rank of Eagle Scout as well as the well as the oldest grandson, Indy.
Wade has been in private practice since 1978. Primary clients include: Wellton-Mohawk Irrigation and Drainage District and Unit B Irrigation and Drainage District. Through representation of his primary clients, Wade has worked to protect the Yuma area’s priority agricultural water rights. Because of his knowledge of Arizona Water law and the Law of the Colorado River. Wade has often been asked to serve in leadership positions for the State.
In addition, Wade is active in State and National Agricultural and water organizations. He is currently the coordinator for the Yuma County Agriculture Water Coalition and in that role directed preparation of “A Case Study in Efficiency-Agriculture and Water Use in the Yuma, Arizona Area.” The 2015 Study investigated and documented the efficient water use practices of Yuma agriculture and the economic value created by the agricultural use of Colorado River water, and has been adopted as a primary reference on the efficient use of Colorado River water.
The Study has been acclaimed even by those critical of irrigated agriculture in the West. Wade is well known and respected by the Yuma area’s State and Federal Legislators. Wade is an effective voice for water and agriculture because Wade knows everyone at the Capitol and everyone at the capitol knows Wade.
Wade volunteers when needed for community projects such as river cleanups, and most importantly, he is noted at events for his Dutch oven desserts.
