Legacy Scholarship
The Arizona Farm and Ranch is dedicated to preserving the legacy of agriculture in Arizona, as well as promoting the future of the industry. We’re proud to announce the Arizona Farm & Ranch Legacy Scholarship.
This scholarship is available for high school seniors in the state of Arizona planning to enroll in any post secondary school.

Applicants must be residents of Arizona.
17-19 years old
High School senior or enrolled in vocational school
A minimum 2.5 grade point average (GPA) requirement on a 4.0 scale.
Applicants must plan to enroll in an accredited post-secondary institution (university, college, vocational school)

Complete the Application Form ensuring all required sections are filled out accurately and completely.

Personal Statement/Essay:
A 500-700 word essay including:
A personal statement of your background and community involvement
A statement of current ties and interest in agriculture and how it has influenced your life and your career goals
Your understanding of current agriculture issues and challenges
Your passion for agriculture and how you plan to contribute to the agricultural community in the future
Your participation and leadership in relevant extracurricular activities such as FFA, 4H, or other agrarian organizations (not required but encouraged, if applicable)
Letters of Recommendation:
Three letters from teachers, mentors, community leaders, or employers who can attest to the applicant’s character, academic abilities, and dedication.
Transcripts
Submission of high school or college transcripts to verify academic performance.

Please share your participation and leadership in relevant extracurricular activities such as FFA, 4H, or other agrarian organizations. We ask for demonstrated involvement in the local community as well, particularly related to agriculture initiatives.
Preference may be given to students with a farming or ranching background.
